While serving as the Founding Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Workforce Innovation in Nevada and the Governor’s designee on the state workforce board, he led successful initiatives that expanded career pathways, credentials of value, and apprenticeships that resulted in a 45% increase in apprentices, led and supported half-a-dozen legislation signed into law, and authored groundbreaking reports that aligned labor market data with state goals. He also led the design, strategy, and submission of the Nevada 2016 WIOA State Plan and the 2018 plan modifications.
